Traveling With Anger and Depression
Inspiration of the Day
“Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.”
Former Senator of New York
So Now What?
Pretty much anyone who travels with anger and depression will tell you that if there was a “happiness” switch that would make everything brighter and joyful they would flip it to the “on” position.
Traveling by way of happiness would make life so much better and probably a bit easier too.
So here is what you are going to need to do, you’re going to spend just 15 minutes everyday doing something for you that makes you happy. This is play time. They way you know it’s play time is that there is no goal for time being spent.
Example, read a book for the fun of it not because you’ll improve yourself some how like reading a personal growth book or a marketing business book.
Another example, you’re jogging because you enjoy the exercise not because you’re training to win a 10K race.
One more example, you’re learning piano for the fun of it not so you can start playing at weddings on the weekends and earn some extra cash.
Now of course you can train to win the race, read personal growth books and get hired at all the weddings you want just make sure reserve time for fun and play.
Start with 15 minutes a day and then add to it so that making time for happiness becomes a habit. And the more time you have to be happy then that emotion becomes a habit too leaving little to no room for anger and depression.
