But What If You Hate Yourself?
Inspiration of the Day
“Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got.
“Love it with a passion, because life truly does give back,
many times over, what you put into it.”
American poet, author, and civil rights activist.
Author of the New York Times best seller I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings.
So Now What?
This makes a lot of sense. But in order to love life wouldn’t you need to start by loving yourself first?
How is the love for life, and therefore other people, able to shine if you are “engaged” in disappointment, frustration and anger with yourself? How is love suppose to come back many times over if you hate yourself?
You have a beautiful view out your window but the glass is covered in dirt and mud. Mind you this view is always there. This exquisite beauty will remain whether you want to clean the window or not. It’s there…waiting.
It’s your move. You are in charge and while you may feel you have a right to blame your parents, school, religion, the government, society – it’s really your responsibility to do something about it.
No one and I mean no one is going to clean your window for you. There are a lot of guides, teachers, books, and workshops on how to clean but they can’t do it for you. Accountability for your life lies with you.
So does living life with passion, giving it all you got sound good to you? Do you understand that when you love life with a passion it truly does give back?
There is lots of scientific evidence which states that we are all interconnected at the zero point field – the quantum energy that underlies, harmonizes, and attaches everyone to everybody and everything, the secret force of nature.
If this is true, then you must be sending the disappointment, frustration, anger and hatred you have with yourself out into the field and therefore to other people. And life truly does give back.
Love starts with you. You need to do the work to get to a place where you honestly and genuinely love yourself. Then let that absolute love permeate and inspire the field.
Then watch what comes back…
